For the second time this season, the Athens Wildcats shut out the Varsity girls soccer team.

"We did a wonderful job marking the ball and putting pressure on the skilled Athens attack in the first half," said head coach Carolyn Mitchell. "We had a couple of breakdowns defensively in the second half, but where able to learn from them.

"Colegrove is a standout player with excellent ball skills and well deserved goals," concluded Mitchell.

With the loss, the Hornets fall to 5-6-1. The team will be back in action on Friday, October 5 as they travel to Mansfield.
