Girls XC wins NTL Coaches' Invite

The Wellsboro girls cross country team scored 56 points to win the NTL Coaches' Invite on Saturday.

The Freshman duo of Jada Jackson and Jordyn Coffee finished 8th and 9th running times of 20:13 and 20:29, respectively to lead the Hornets to the win.

Rounding out the rest of the finishers for Wellsboro were Freshman Camryn Keane in 12th (20:53), Senior Randi Grim in 14th (21:09), Junior Charlotte Worthington in 18th (21:37), Freshman Hannah Hood in 20th (21:59), Sophomore Denae Ingerick in 22nd (22:07), Freshman Samantha Bailey in 31st (23:02), Sophomore Caitlynn Butler in 42nd (23:46), and Junior Baylee Mann in 57th (25:01).

In Middle School action, the Hornets finished in 4th with 84 points.

The Varsity team will be back in action on Thursday, October 25 as they compete in Districts.
