MS soccer drops heartbreaker to Liberty

The Wellsboro MS Soccer lost a heartbreaker to Liberty earlier in the week, 3-5.

Liberty appeared to be in control early scoring four times in the first half. Wellsboro made a comeback in the second half scoring their first goal within five minutes of the second half. Jacob Singer reordered two assists. Scoring for the hornets were Kelsey Logan, Zach Heath, and Noah Fitch.

Nathan Watson recorded three saves in goal while Faith Kennedy had two saves on the night.

The Hornets offense controlled the ball for most of the second half and ended the game with 21 shots on goal.

The B team lost their game 4-1. Bridget Kennedy had five saves. The Hornets ended the game with four shots on goal. Lane Brown scored the lone goal for the Hornets.
