The Wellsboro boys soccer team found themselves down 2-1 to Northern Potter at halftime on Tuesday. The Hornets would rally though in the second half to capture the win, 3-2.

"I am so proud of the attitude of the boys tonight," said head coach John Shaffer. "Northern Potter came out strong and deserved their halftime lead. In the second half we held them to one shot and dominated the game.

"We had multiple chances on goal disallowed but the boys kept fighting and never gave up. It is good to have adversity during the season and tonight was a character builder for these young men."
