Girls soccer explodes for 11 goals against Williamson

The Wellsboro Varsity girls soccer team took out their frustrations of this season on Williamson Wednesday night as they took 50 shots on the night en route to a 11-0 shut out.

The Lady Hornets put up 4 goals in the first half and 7 in the second.

Sophomores Sarah Ingerick and Lindsey Graver each had hat tricks on the night. Junior Emilie Kramer accounted for 2 goals, while Junior Lauren Bleggi, Junior Jennifer Evans, and Freshman Kelsey Logan all added a goal.

Logan added 3 assists on the night, Bleggi and Graver recorded 2 each, and Sophomore Jenny Young added 1.

In the J.V. game, the Lady Hornets won 5-0 to improve their record to 2-1 on the year.

With the win, the Varsity team improves to 2-5-1 (1-4-1 NTL). The team will be back in action on Saturday, September 21 as they travel to Towanda.
