Girls tennis falls to CV

The Wellsboro Varsity girls tennis team dropped their fourth consecutive match Wednesday, this time suffering a 6-1 defeat to CV.

"It was pretty sunny and windy so the girls had to adjust to the conditions, and CV adapted well," said head coach Jill Gastrock.

Corse/Clemens def. Bieser/Ruef 6-3, 6-3

With the loss, the Lady Hornets fall to 0-4 (0-3 NTL). The team will be back in action on Thursday, September 5 as they host Towanda.
