MS soccer defeats Liberty

The Wellsboro Middle School soccer team picked up their second win of the season with a 7-2 victory over Liberty Saturday.

The Hornets started off Saturday's contest going up 1-0 early in the half, and continued to play team soccer the entire game. Brett Rudy was the first to strike off an assist from Noah Fitch. Ruddy went on to score two more times to complete his hat trick.

Noah Fitch, Devin Webster, Nic Ingerick, and Abby Feil all had a goal a piece for the Hornets. Recording assists for the Hornets were Brett Rudy, Abby Feil, Gabe Leach, Tanner Runyan, and Holden Kennedy.

With the win, the Hornets improve to 2-2 on the season. The team will be back in action on Wednesday, September 18 as they travel to Sayre.
