Hornet baseball drops Williamson, 16-2

Senior Dylan Prough went 3-for-5 with three runs to lead the Hornets to a 16-2 win over Williamson on Monday, April 28.

Sophomore Dawson Prough went 2-for-3 with two doubles, Senior Cody DeHaas was 2-for-4 with a double while Sophomore Sam Moss (2-for-2) and Senior Brandon Owlett (2-for-4) also had multiple hits in the game.

Owlett scored three runs on the night.

Dylan Prough started and earned the win, going two innings with four strikeouts and one walk. Dawson Prough went the next two innings with two strikeouts while Sophomore James Mundy pitched one inning with one strikeout.

The win improves the Hornets' record to 6-5 (2-2 NTL Division 1). The team will be back in action on Wednesday, April 30 as they host Troy.
