Hornets participate in District swim meet

Members of the Wellsboro Swim Team participated in the District IV swim meet on Wednesday and Thursday, February 25-26.

Sophomores Olivia Kurtz and Nathan Cotner had the Hornets' best finish of the meet. Kurtz took home third place in the 50 Freestyle with a time of 26.06 and Cotner was third in the 100 Freestyle (49.66). Kurtz also finished fifth in the 100 Freestyle (56.74) and Cotner was also fifth in the 50 Freestyle (22.76).

Junior Mikayla Feil was seventh in the 50 Freestyle (26.64) and sixth in the 100 Freestyle (57.07), and Senior Emilie Kramer was eighth in the 200 IM (2:21.96) and sixth in the 100 Breaststroke (1:12.55).

Freshman Kaitlyne Kramer was 11th in the 50 Freestyle (27.85), Freshman Abby Feil was 17th in the 100 Backstroke (1:14.42), and Freshman Connor Brought was 11th in the 200 IM (2:25.39) and 16th in the 100 Breaststroke (1:15.27).
