Barnett finishes 5th at Districts

Junior Ben Barnett finished 5th overall on day two of the PIAA District IV Class AA Championships at Williamsport Country Club on Saturday, October 7.
Barnett started Saturday's match one stroke (76) behind Northern Tioga's Tanner Adriance (75), who went on to be crowned champion. Barnett shot an 82 for a combined score of 158 for the tournament for the 5th place finish.
Barnett also qualified for Regionals as the top-8 in Class AA advanced.
"I'm very proud of how Ben fought all day," said head coach Steve Macensky. "He fell 5 strokes behind the leader and fought it back to 2 down in the final holes. He was only a few puts away from from being in the playoff for a District Championship."
Barnett will had to Regionals next Monday in hopes of advancing to the States.
