Hornet swimmers post strong times against Towanda, Sayre

Members of the Wellsboro Swim team posted strong times against Towanda and Sayre on Tuesday, January 17.

Senior Nathan Cotner swam 23.04 in the 50 Freestyle and 56.32 in the 100 Fly. Junior Connor Brought recorded times of 54.64 in the 100 Freestyle and 1:09.66 in the 100 Breaststroke, freshman Brennan Warner swam 26.63 in the 50 Freestyle and 2:26.97 in the 200 IM, and senior Devan Warner poseted a time of 1:16.43 in the 100 Breaststroke and 25.90 in the 50 Freestyle.

For the girls, senior Olivia Kurtz swam 26.20 in the 50 Freestyle and 57.83 in the 100 Freestyle, junior Kaitlyne Kramer clocked 1:02.68 in the 100 Freestyle and 28.30 in the 50 Freestyle, and junior Abby Feil recorded 1:13.99 in the 100 Backstroke and 30.83 in the 50 Freestyle.

Every swimmer posted District IV qualifying times in at least one event.

The team will be back in the pool at Towanda on Tuesday, January 24.
