The Wellsboro Boys Tennis team shut out Cowanesque Valley 7-0 on Wednesday, March 28.

"The Wellsboro team continues to show that they are the force to be reckoned with in the Norther Tier League," said head coach Margery Hoffman. "Cowanesque Valley is another young team playing in their first match of the season. They played hard but were no match for our more-experienced team. We continued to improve serving and putting pace and depth on our balls."

The win improved the Hornets to 3-0 (2-0 NTL) on the year. The team will be back in action on Tuesday, April 3 against rival North Penn-Liberty.
