Week 1: Seals Fall to Green Dragons in Season Opener

The 2018 season opener brought a tough loss for the young Seals Squad agianst the Lewisburg Green Dragons, 32-22. The Seals held the lead for much of the matchup, but Lewisuburg capitalized on a couple young player mistakes to open a margin late in the game. In spite of the loss, we saw some really good things out of freshman QB Danny Shoch, who hit Ben Swineford for several big passing plays including a touchdown. Sophomore Fullback Nate Schon scored his first varsity touchdown with a 59 yard run, while Linebacker Nick Sheaffer and OLB Wyatt Metzger anchored a solid defensive showing. Blaise Zeiders had a strong game on both sides of the ball.
