Middle School Soccer wraps up season at Williamson Tournament

The Wellsboro Middle School Soccer team ended their season by competing in the Williamson Tournament on Saturday, October 19.

The 8th Grade team finished 2nd in their pool play with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss. They then fell to Towanda 1-0 in the semi-final game. Scoring for the 8th Grade team were Dillon Boyce (4 goals), Noah Morey, and Isaac Macias with assists by Caden Smith, Jacob Abadi, and Nehemiah Burros. Mitchell Butler had 7 saves in goal.

The 7th Grade team also finished 2nd in their pool play with a record of 1 win, 1 loss, and 2 ties before falling to Athens 4-0 in the semi-final game. Scoring for the 7th Grade team were River Moyer and Hunter Hamblin. Annie Gehman had 6 saves in goal.
