Hornets keep rolling, top Towanda.

TOWANDA — Four Hornets scored in double-figures as Wellsboro beat Towanda 69-34 in NTL Division-I girls' basketball action Monday.

Rachael Tuttle and Emma Poirier had 17 points each to lead the Lady Hornets while Tory Self netted 16 and Lizzie Poirier added 14.

Cathryn Brought rounded out the Wellsboro scoring with five points.

Cearra McLinko had 14 points, including four threes, to lead the Lady Knights while Erin Barrett and Amanda Horton had five points each.

Kristin Leljedal netted three points, Kenadie Packard scored two and Lindsey Leljedal chipped in with one.

Barrett also had six boards, two assists and one block, Hannah Chandler added three assists while McLinko handed out two.

Towanda won the JV game 25-18 as Barrett netted 11 points while Bailey Monks had seven for the Hornets.

Towanda travels to Williamson on Wednesday.

Sayre 53, Northeast Bradford 27

Emily Sutryk had 16 points and six steals to lead the Redskins to the NTL Division-II girls' basketball win Monday.

Steph Klovekorn added 13 points and eight boards while Camry Lane had 13 points, five assists and three steals.

Madi Wheeler had five points while Blair Wampole, Emily Moore and Brit Benjamin had two points apiece.

Wampole also had eight rebounds and five blocks.

Josie Haverly had eight points to lead the Lady Panthers while Aaliyah Bevacqua netted six.

Lindsay Moore and Emilee Allis each scored four, Vicky Rought added three while Lauryn Shults chipped in with two.

Athens 46, Wyalusing 28

Kara Chapman had a double-double of 16 points and 11 boards, along with two blocks and three assists, to lead the Wildcats to the NTL Division-I girls' basketball win Monday.

Emily Lunger added 14 points, seven boards, five assists and four steals while Sophie Adams had six points, six rebounds and two blocks.

Haley Barry had five points while Kayleigh Miller netted three to go with five rebounds.

Megan Collins rounded out the scoring with two points with Avery Priester chipping in with two rebounds and three assists.

Sara Bird had 12 points to lead Wyalusing while Callie Bennett netted four and Emily Champluvier scored three. Hannah Chamberlin, Catherine Brown, Hailey Jayne and Lexi Schoonover each scored two while Madison Putnam netted one.

Wyalusing won the JV game 40-28 as Emily Pennison had 18 for Athens.

The Wildcats are at Wellsboro Wednesday.

Canton 66, North Penn-Liberty 40

Tamara Hess had 26 points to lead three Lady Warriors in double figures as they picked up the NTL Division-II girls' basketball win Monday.

Elle Binford added 19 points while Joelle Urban scored 11. Shea Roupp netted six with Emma Bly and Hailey Wesneski scoring two points a piece.

Taylor Thompson and Alyssa Remley each had 10 points to lead the Mountaineers while Emma Williams netted six and McKenzie Bogaczyk added five.

Eva Rice, Katie Mitstifer and Sara Alexander had three points each to round out their scoring.

Sullivan County 58, Jersey Shore 42

Mykenzie Malacusky had 20 points, seven blocks and six rebounds to lead the Griffins to the non-league girls' basketball win Monday.

Jessica King had a double-double of 15 points and 13 boards to go with three blocks. Alexis Randall had six points, nine boards, two blocks, two steals and two assists, Stef Kramer had six points and eight boards, Sophia Springman had six points and four boards and Bethany Beinlich added five points, two blocks and two assists.

Galeton 55, Oswayo Valley 49

The Tigers rallied from a 10-point first quarter deficit to pick up the North Tier League girls' basketball win Monday.

Galeton cut it to a 2-point deficit (25-23) at the half then went on to out score Oswayo 32-24 the rest of the way for the win.

Makaya Shadle nearly had a quadruple-double with nine points, nine rebounds, eight assists and eight steals.

Katelyn Pagano had 18 points while Jessie Evans added 12. Cara Parsell and Haylee Ludington rounded out the scoring with eight points each.

St. John Neumann 39, North Penn-Mansfield 34

The Tigers weren't able to hold on in their non-league girls' basketball loss Monday.

Neumann led 16-5 after the first quarter. The Tigers out scored them 25-13 in the middle quarters to take a 30-29 lead into the final frame.

In the fourth, Shayna McNamee had six of her 20 points as the Golden Knights out scored NP-Mansfield's 10-4 to get the win.

Alyssa Smith had 13 points for the Tigers while Jaime Palmer added seven. Jeannette Montefusco scored five, JoAnne McNamara notched four, Lizzi Welch and Hannah Bowens had two points a piece with Alaina McKee netting one.Addison 35, Williamson 30

The Warriors' fourth quarter rally came up short in non-league girls' basketball action Monday.

Addison led 25-19 going into the fourth quarter where Emylee Yusko led a Williamson rally with seven points.

However, it wasn't enough as Addison hit enough free throws to hang on.

Yusko finished with 16 points to lead the Warriors while Hannah Deacon netted six, Bethanny Boyce added four while Brianna Padgett and Ella Durst had two points each.
