Wylausing's Edsell named NTL Wrestler of the Year.

Wyalusing's Creighton Edsell was named the 2017-2018 NTL Wrestler of the Year by the league's coaches recently.

The Rams coaching staff of Mike Earle, Brian Fischer, Walt Fisk, Bud Putnam and Dave Hunsinger, were named the NTL Coaching Staff of the Year.

The first team consists of Troy's Sheldon Seymour (106), Wyalusing's Darren Schum (113) and Logan Newton (120), Athens' A.J. Burkhart (126) and Chris Horton (132), Wyalusing's Luke O'Connor (138), NP-Liberty's Riley Walker (145), Canton's Timmy Ward (152), Edsell (160), Wyalusing's Ed Mapes (170), NEB's Tyler Devonshire (182), Wyalusing's Jackson Chilson (195) and Mike Wilcox (220) and NP-Liberty's Justin Kriner (285).

The second team consists of Athens' Bailey Poarch (106), NP-Liberty's Patriot June (113) and Williamson's Mathew Carpenter (120), Towanda's Steven Chenot (126), Wyalusing's Zach Shaffer (132), Troy's Bailey Cohick (138), Towanda's Cooper Mosier (152), Athens' Nate Bradley (160) and David Galasso (170), Canton's Garrett Storch (182), NEB's Noah Forbes (195) and Wyalusing's Randy Wildrick (285).

Four wrestlers shared second team honors: Canton's Mak Gleckner and Towanda's Preston Rogers at 145, and Towanda's Seth Johnson and NEB's Dawson Brown at 220.

Photos for both teams will be on Monday, 7 p.m. at the Towanda High School.
