The Hornets used a big second quarter to run to secure a win over the Panthers in the first round of the boys\' Wellsboro Christmas Tournament Wednesday.

Even though Wellsboro gave up 26 points in the 4th quarter they were still able to claim a 55-51 victory over the North Penn.

Despite committing 20 turnovers the Hornets played well enough to upend the Coudersport Falcons, 49-38.
